As a Video Editor at Custompedia, you will shape raw footage into clear, engaging, platform-ready stories through pacing, structure, sound, graphics, and strong editorial judgment. You will work in an agency environment where clarity, ownership, relevance, and execution quality matter.
- Edit short-form social videos, ads, interviews, event recaps, and branded content.
- Build strong openings, pacing, transitions, subtitles, sound design, and CTA flow.
- Select the strongest takes and create coherent narrative structure.
- Apply feedback and manage multiple versions or aspect ratios efficiently.
- Coordinate with motion designers, content creators, and producers when needed.
- Keep project files, media, and exports organized for revision and archive.
- Strong editing fundamentals and sense of pacing.
- Proficiency in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut, or equivalent.
- Portfolio or showreel demonstrating relevant work.
- Good understanding of TikTok/Reels editing conventions without overusing trends.
